You already know the Sandwich Generation - caring for kids and aging parents as well as yourself, the middle of the sandwich. The Lasagna Leader also contends with taking care of their team members.

Your leadership sauce is the base of it all - it permeates all the other ingredients. Get your sauce right and it can overcome almost any deficiency in the layers of the dish.
